Larry is the President of the Board of Directors and serves as the central point person for all activities with WOWL-FM and Southern Community Services. He is also President of the Eagle Radio Network, which partners with our organization to provide staffing, programming, and digital tools to serve our listeners.

Kix started as an intern with WOWL while in high school when the station was still under the leadership of Rick Biddle. He’s a home-grown talent from Tishomingo and has a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Art from the University of Memphis focused in Mass Communications, Strategy and Design. He’s currently based in Gainesville, Florida while he finishes his Ph.D. in Mass Communication with his research focused on inter-community communication, and intersectional identities. He handles FCC compliance, programming, digital and pretty much anything else that comes our way, he’s our fixer!
